International Agenda for Tourism Research: State of the Art and Future Directions
This forum is aimed to provide insights and present discussions about research in tourism, its state of the art and future directions.

It has also the objectives of determining the research directions toward the achievement of the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals; reflecting on how the participatory process among stakeholders enhances tourism research; learning the techniques and best practices in the conduct of research publications, within and across borders; and fostering synergies and collaboration amongst scholars and the academia for the advancement of quality tourism research.

There are two sessions for this event. The first part will have the keynote speeches and presentations (via videoconferencing) by: Prof. Dimitrios Buhalis (Bournemouth University, UK); Prof. Eugenia Wickens (Utara University Malaysia, Malaysia); Prof. Luiz Trigo (University of Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Prof. Stanislav Ivanov (Varna University of Management, Bulgaria).

The second session shall have a panel discussion and debate, with Prof. José Manuel Simões (University of Lisbon, Portugal); Prof. Paula Remoaldo (University of Minho, Portugal) and Prof. Carlos Costa (University of Aveiro, Portugal).

Expected participants are students, researchers, academicians and those who are interested in Tourism research.
