UA Project wins the ECIU Team Award for Innovation in Teaching and Learning

The EduPARK project has won the prestigious European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) Award for Innovation in Teaching and Learning. Lúcia Pombo, the EduPARK coordinator, and Margarida M. Marques, a research fellow working on the project, both from the CIDTFF Research Centre for Didactics and Technology in Teacher Education, received the prize at a special ceremony held at Hamburg University of Technology on the occasion of the ECIU Board Meeting.

UA organizes graduation celebration for students of European Master programme

The University of Aveiro presented 14 students from the Joint European Master in Environmental Studies: Cities and Sustainability with participation certificates on Saturday 13th of October. This masters programme is the result of collaboration between four European Universities that are members of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU): Aalborg University in Denmark, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain, Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal and Hamburg University of Technology in Germany.

UA trains expert leaders in knowledge and technology transfer

Throughout March and April, within the scope of the VETEC project, six professors from various Vietnamese universities, who work on transfer processes and technology valorisation, are being trained at the University of Aveiro in the field of capacity building in Knowledge and Technology Transfer - KTT. Throughout these two months, the Vietnamese professors will visit some institutions that are successful models in this area in our country.
